Survival Stories: Novel Games — key visual

Survival Stories: Novel Games

Interactive novels

Every choice is a matter of survival. Visual survival novels where you don't just read the story — you drive it. A raft lost at sea, a deserted island, an ancient temple, a spaceship that isn't empty: every choice pulls you closer to rescue or to the abyss.

How it plays

How a story plays out

Survival Stories is survival told as a visual novel. There is no inventory to manage and no meters to watch — the pressure comes from choices that close doors behind you.

  1. Pick a scenario

Four self-contained stories: a plane crash in Lost Horizons, open water in Raft to Nowhere, the traps of Temple of the Wretched and something aboard the ship in Space Terror.

  2. Read the situation

Each scene sets out what you know, what you do not, and who else is involved. Playing as different characters — and dressing them — changes the frame you read it through.

  3. Make the call

Paths branch on your decisions. Some of them look small at the time and turn out not to be.

  4. Live with the ending

Every story has more than one, and the one you reach is the one your choices led to. Going back means choosing differently.

Both, in the way visual novels are: you read a survival scenario and make the calls that branch it. Different choices lead to different endings.

How many stories are there?

Four scenarios at present: a plane crash in Lost Horizons, open water in Raft to Nowhere, the traps of Temple of the Wretched and a boarded ship in Space Terror.

Do my choices really change anything?

Yes — the paths branch and the endings differ. That is the whole mechanic.

Is Survival Stories free?

It is free to download from the App Store and Google Play. The listing also shows in-app purchases and ads.

What do I need to play Survival Stories?

It runs on iPhone and iPad running iOS 13.0 or later and on Android devices through Google Play.

What age rating does Survival Stories have?

The stores rate it 12+ on the App Store and Teen on Google Play. Ratings are set by the stores, not by us.

Yes — the most recent update on the official listings is dated 13 May 2026 (version 1.2.0 on iOS).
