The studio in one paragraph

What Survival Games Ltd makes

Survival Games Ltd is a mobile game studio registered in the United Kingdom. We develop and publish nine survival games for iPhone, iPad and Android: the Raft® series, where you build a floating base out of whatever drifts past; two takes on the zombie apocalypse, one defensive and offline, one a fast arena shooter; rooftop sniper missions; and interactive survival novels. Every one of them is free to download, and every one is made and supported by us.

Five games built on one idea: a few planks of wood between you and everything that wants you gone. They differ in where you drift, whether you survive alone or with a crew, and how far the crafting goes — from a lone raft on the open ocean to a flying platform over the desert.

Raft® Survival - Ocean Nomad — ocean survival gameplay

Ocean Nomad

Ocean survival

The ocean is your home, sharks are your neighbours and a few planks of wood are all that keeps you alive. Hook drifting wreckage, expand your raft floor by floor, craft what you need and swim out to the islands — while something circles beneath you.

Raft® Survival: Desert Nomad — desert survival gameplay

Desert Nomad

Desert survival

Left alive in a scorched desert, you escape the sand the only way possible — on a raft that flies. Build it plank by plank, mine and produce resources, forge armour and weapons, and cross the wasteland in search of other survivors.

4.7
Raft® Survival: Multiplayer — co-op survival gameplay

Raft Multiplayer

Co-op survival

The multiplayer version of Ocean Nomad. Create a room, invite up to ten players and build the raft of your dreams together — or join someone else's crew and help their build survive the ocean.

4.5
Raft® Survival Adventure Quest — casual survival adventure gameplay

Adventure Quest

Casual survival adventure

Start on a deserted island with an empty backpack and an axe. Expand the land, sail a sturdy raft between unique biomes, brave the dungeons and build your own island kingdom.

Raft® Survival: Sandbox Game — pvp raft survival gameplay

Raft Sandbox

PvP raft survival

The competitive corner of raft survival: gather with a hook, craft weapons and armour, then take the fight to other players. Raft-versus-raft PvP arenas decide who tops the leaderboard.

Shop Ocean Nomad items

Two takes on the same apocalypse. One is a slow offline survival RPG about fortifying a shelter and holding it through the night; the other is a fast top-down shooter about clearing wave after wave with two allies at your side.

Let’s Survive - Survival games — zombie survival rpg gameplay

Let's Survive

Zombie survival RPG

An offline survival RPG in a world of ash, fear, zombies and mutants. Fortify a shelter, craft weapons and armour, follow the storyline and hold the line when the horde and its bosses come for your walls.

4.6
Dead.io - Zombie Survival Game — top-down zombie action gameplay

Dead.io

Top-down zombie action

Fast top-down zombie action: defend the camp, survive wave after wave, take down bosses, unlock fighters and push into new locations.

Other games

Two titles that sit outside the raft and zombie series: tactical sniper action and survival told as interactive novels.

Grand Sniper: 3D Shooting Game — sniper action gameplay

Grand Sniper

Sniper action

Work from the shadows as a marksman defending city streets from crime. Read the distance, hold your breath and deliver precise shots across landmark skylines — from New York to Paris.

4.7
Survival Stories: Novel Games — interactive novels gameplay

Survival Stories

Interactive novels

Visual survival novels where you don't just read the story — you drive it. A raft lost at sea, a deserted island, an ancient temple, a spaceship that isn't empty: every choice pulls you closer to rescue or to the abyss.

The genre

What is a survival game?

A survival game gives you a place that will not keep you alive and asks you to make it do so anyway. The mechanics vary — hunger and thirst, temperature, radiation, ammunition — but the shape is always the same: you arrive with almost nothing, you gather, you turn what you gathered into something more useful, and then you protect it. Progress is not a score. It is the difference between what would have killed you on day one and what you can now walk past.

Mobile changes that shape in one important way: sessions are short and interrupted. A survival game on a phone has to make five minutes feel like progress and still be there, unchanged, when you come back two days later. That is why our games lean on things you can leave running in your head — a raft that is half-built, a shelter that needs one more wall, an arena you nearly cleared — rather than on reflexes you have to keep sharp.

The other thing mobile changes is who is playing. A survival game on PC can assume you chose it deliberately. On a phone, a lot of people arrive because the premise sounded good — a raft in the middle of the ocean is a premise you understand instantly. So the first ten minutes have to teach the loop without a manual, and the difficulty has to come from the world rather than from the controls.

The studio

Who we are

Survival Games Ltd develops and publishes mobile games built around exploration, crafting, action and survival.

It started on the water. Our flagship, Raft® Survival - Ocean Nomad, has been sailing since 2017 and holds a 4.6-star App Store rating from hundreds of thousands of survivors. The catalogue has grown far beyond the ocean since: a desert crossed on a flying raft, a shared raft built with friends online, zombie badlands to outlast, sniper rooftops to hold — and interactive novels where one choice decides who survives.

We are the developer and the publisher of every title here — there is no third party between us and the store listing, and no one else deciding what goes into an update. Every game is free to download and keeps growing after release. When players need help, there is no wall either: write to support and a person answers.

Questions

Mobile survival games: common questions

What survival games does Survival Games Ltd make?

Nine, in four directions: the Raft® series — Ocean Nomad, Desert Nomad, Multiplayer, Adventure Quest and Sandbox; two zombie games, Let’s Survive and Dead.io; the sniper game Grand Sniper; and Survival Stories, a set of interactive novels.

Are your games free?

All of them are free to download. The store listings show in-app purchases, and all but Raft® Survival: Sandbox Game also show ads. Prices and availability are set per region by the stores.

Which devices can I play your games on?

Our mobile survival games are available across iPhone, iPad, Android phones and compatible Android tablets. Eight of the nine are on the App Store, and every one of those eight is listed as compatible with iPad as well as iPhone — iPadOS 13.0 or later, except Dead.io, which needs iPadOS 15.0 or later. Raft® Survival: Sandbox Game is published on Google Play only. For an Android tablet, open the game's Google Play listing on the tablet itself — it confirms compatibility for that exact model.

Which of your games can I play offline?

Two, and the answer differs by platform. Let’s Survive is playable fully offline — both store listings call it an offline survival game. Raft® Survival - Ocean Nomad plays offline on Android, where the Google Play listing states you can play with no wifi or internet; on iPhone and iPad we make no offline claim because the App Store listing does not state it. For the other games, check the listing for the one you want — we do not claim offline support we have not confirmed.

Which game should I start with?

If you want the one the studio is known for, start with Raft® Survival - Ocean Nomad. If you are playing with friends, start with Multiplayer. The comparison table above lays out all nine side by side.

Do you have multiplayer games?

Two. Raft® Survival: Multiplayer is co-operative — up to ten players build one raft. Raft® Survival: Sandbox Game is competitive: raft against raft, with a leaderboard.

Where do I get help with a game?

Write to player support. Include the game, your device, your OS version and the app version, and describe what happened — a person reads every message.

Who owns the Raft® trademark used in your titles?

The ® in our titles refers to the registered trademark held by Survival Games Ltd and used in our own published games. For trademark or press enquiries, see the press kit.
